School holidays at the moment and we were away camping in the Flinders Ranges last week, and tonight we had to eat at home as the BCK is being treated for likely pneumonia, likely picked up from her brother who had it a couple of weeks ago.
Was hoping to go in person but we opted for delivery through Uber Eats. This adds substantially to the cost of our normal restaurant outings, but there are heaps of left overs. The restaurant is a Glenelg legend and always seems full.
But what did the BCK think about it?
She (the BCK) says: "The Butter Chicken was good but it wasn't creamy enough for me and it was quite spicy even though we ordered a mild. But I did like the flavour and if I said anything to improve it, it would be for them to make it more creamy. I liked the mango lassi it was creamy and thick and yummy and even though we had it at home, the food was still hot. That's really all!"
He (the Mango Daddy) says: "Quick delivery for Uber Eats, and the priority meant is came straight here (by scooter) and was still warm. I wasn't that keen on the meat used in the Rogan Josh - it was very tough. Hopefully the BCK will be back in action for dinner out next week. You definitely pay for the convenience of Uber Eats, $10 in our case and I'm sure the restaurant gets clipped too. Some curry with the BCK is better than no curry, so for today we just suck it up!".
