Another random outing tonight as Cinnamon Spice didn't confirm our booking. So we literally put Indian Food in the apple maps in the car and chose a place at random. Not such a bad plan as it turned out, and Indian roulette has now been born.
Today's location was on the busy South Road at Darlington. A little bit outside of our normal radius but parking was super easy and it gave us some extra time to listen to the Doo Wop corner with Carmen on Radio Adelaide. The service was very attentive and we were seated straight away with pappadums presented to us within minutes. This was just as well as we were both starving. The menu was extensive, even expanding in to Mexican dishes.
The food took around 25 minutes to come out, but it was well worth the wait...
But what did the BCK think about it?
She (the BCK) says: "It is a very good place to go if you're up for something a bit different. Instead of 'creamy yummy butter chicken' its 'non-creamy yummy yummy' butter chicken. The butter chicken is very fruity, tomatoey and yummy and it was quite buttery and nice. I liked how they came out with pappadums to start us off and that was very yummy and that's what I think."
He (the Mango Daddy) says: "A sensational choice. The Balti Beef was close to a 10. Very spicy for medium so glad I didn't go overboard. The mango lassi was perfect. I think this Indian Roulette has legs and I'm looking forward to where it takes us next week!"
