Back on the road for another round of Curry Roulette, and we were badly let down by Google, who directed us to two restaurants in Seacombe Gardens that were supposed to be open, but turned out to be shut. Short on options and with rumbling tummies we made a quick call to go back Country Garden. No booking this time, which was risky as there were lots of people in, but fortunately for us there were tables. Fortunate also that the larger groups were already eating.
The service was very quicker than last time - we got in around 6.45pm and the food was out around 7pm, with the mango lassis again out almost immediately. We were both starving but still barely touched the surface of the two dishes.
The familiarity of the place after just one previous visit was nice, but the menu could be a bit limiting - not really that many choices which is unusual for Indian.
But what did the BCK think about it?
She (the BCK) says: "A reliable option - the food was really yummy (again) the lady was really nice. The mango lassi was very creamy and delicious."
He (the Mango Daddy) says: "Really happy with the service and food and especially happy with the Medium Chicken Korma had a nice kick to it. There was so much left over which fed the BCK for dinner the next night and me for lunch."
