Back to a classy joint this week, after last week's at home.  British India is an all class act.  Plenty of people in, but a little quieter than when we were last here.  We rated it really highly last time, so expectations were high.

But what did the BCK think about it?

She (the BCK) says: "We had to re-read the blog from last time so I could remember whether to order the British Butter Chicken or the Indian Butter Chicken.  The British Butter Chicken didn't look creamy but it was very creamy.  It was very like spicy but the cream covered it up.  And it was very yummy.  To be fair."

Overall the BCK was much happier with her choice.  It was definitely sweeter.  The small portion size was perfect for the both of us, with some left over on the Butter Chicken front.  The Goan Prawns were delicious but could have done with some veggies in the bowl.

He (the Mango Daddy) says: "Food was sensational.  I've really developed a taste for mango lassi.  The ones here are to die for.  The overall bill cost a little bit more than last time courtesy of the large size prawns (plenty of left overs which was good as I needed to bring something home for the better half).  Still incredibly reasonable for the ambience and quality of the dishes.  The plain naans were not buttery at all this time.  Love this place.  Need to bring the other half as well so we can mix up the dishes a bit more (and have a cocktail or two).

I really love these nights out with Jem.  Good times."
