Tonight we headed along Oaklands Road to Delhi Spice, opposite the Oaklands Reserve Vineyards. It was a beautiful clear night and we were driving towards a rising bright full moon the whole way.
We'd been here before, but not since starting the blog. The dining area has a nice vibe, warm colours with old pennies stuck on the wall. Finding the oldest one kept Jemma busy while we were waiting for the food.
She (the BCK) says: "It was great. It came out pretty quickly. I liked how you could see them making it. There was one other family that came in, and lots of people picking up orders. One of the things I liked about the place was the pennies stuck to the walls. The food was really good, the butter chicken could have been creamier but that was fine. That is all I have got to say."
He (the Mango Daddy) says: "The food was good value and the lamb was nice and tender which isn't always the case! The food could have had a bit more spice (or for heat to be chosen when ordering), but it's a handy location. A busy road, you're tucked away a bit so don't really notice. The service was friendly and efficient. A solid option and clearly a local favourite."
