A guy at bowls was talking about this place on the weekend, so running out of local new places to try we decided to give it a go.  I did check to make sure that butter chicken was on the menu, but failed to check for mango lassi.  I was a bit late home from work and we arrived at the restaurant to find a table of 12 ladies in traditional Nepalese dress putting in their order.  That no doubt contributed to the looonnngg wait for our food, which seemed to drag even longer because we were both starving.

And there was no mango lassi to fill up on.  BCK had a sprite and I had a beer.  Both poor substitutes for our favourite curry accompaniment.

Was it worth the wait?  Absolutely.  The Butter Chicken was the best I've ever had.  The Himalayan Chicken came with so many vegetables and I have about two serves left over.  When I went to pay the lady said 'it took a while but the food is delicious isn't it!'.  Worth the wait, and we will be back.  Hopefully I can convince James to try the momos.

But what did the BCK think about it?

She (the BCK) says: "It was very yummy.  It was worth the wait.  It's a good place to go if you have lots of time on your hands and if you want something yummy to eat."
