Melbourne Cup night and I'd was RBT'd within about 200m of our front door.  Plenty of well dressed loose units around as we drove through Glenelg.  We arrived at British India just after 6pm, expecting to find a buzzing atmosphere as usual, but the place was empty.  Note to self, a good night to go out!

I ordered the Biryani, which was beautiful.  Four rotis were a bit much for one small butter chicken, so I ordered some Persian Lamb, which turned out to be a winner.  The Mango Lassi seemed very thick after last week's Nepalese variation.

We had lots to talk about as usual and we spent some time looking through some old photos of the BCK with her nanny on a visit to the UK when she was a baby.

But what did the BCK think about it?

She (the BCK) says: "The Butter Chicken was sweet like last time we got the British one.  The Mango Lassi was delicious.  I don't have anything else to say."
