We hadn't been back to Kahani since starting the blog.  The first time we tried to go here we walked in to the restaurant next door by mistake (and Asian fusion restaurant) and ordered before we realised.  A bit of a stuff up, but we weren't along.  As we left a couple were leaving with a half finished bottle of wine who'd done the same thing.  We went back the following week to the right place and had a lovely meal.

The BCK had suggested we come here a couple of weeks ago and given it was a beautiful evening to watch the sunset we gave it a go.

Kahani is set on the Marina at Glenelg with ocean views.  There was only one other couple in there when we arrived so we secured a window set.

The Mango Lassi was the best I've ever had.  Absolutely delicious.  Creamy, whipped up a bit, and really cold.  So cold I was getting throat freezes.  The chicken curry was basic, but so tasty and the roti were perfect.  Not much left over to take home, but the price wasn't bad given the location and the quality.  We will be back!

But what did the BCK think about it?

She (the BCK) says: "It was very yummy.  The mango lassi was exceptional.  The butter chicken was creamy, but not too creamy.  And I think it was very yummy food.  That is all."
